I want to learn what I need to succeed in school and work. I realized as much as I know about computer hardware and current new tech, I don't really know much about the actual tech industry itself. I wanna learn more about the working part of the class curriculum and I also want to know. I also wanna know more about the history of the www and internet like we've been learning the last couple of classes because it's really interesting and I think I would also like to learn more about the history of the "tech industry". Also maybe an idea of the direction we are headed in robots in the workplace and also what new innovations may be on the horizon like the warp drive we were talking about in class. I really liked that topic. I ended looking up more stuff on that and watched/read some stuff on Alcubierre's warp drive. Things like that really interest me and keep me engaged. I don't really know what else to talk about so ill talk about one of my favorite hobbies. I really like building computers. It's really fun and satisfying to build a PC from parts I picked out and have it boot and run. My current setup is kind of insane for what I do (i9 10850k and when stock comes in a 3070/3080 and 32gb of ram) but I built it for what I will be doing in the near future which is a lot of video editing gaming and coding. And that's it for this blog :)

Número dos: How to spot a deep fake

Spotting a deep fake is hard. Tech is getting so good now it's becoming increasingly harder to tell what's real from what's fake. One of the easiest ways to spot a deep fake is by checking the lighting. let's say the person is wearing glasses, is the light reflecting off the lenses. Are the shadows in the correct spots? Are there even shadows? Make sure the lighting physics are natural and it doesn't look off. But there probably will be ways around that soon. In games, I know Nvidia and AMD are working on ray tracing for video games right now and bringing that tech to the mainstream. Since they've already figured out how to make light behave in games like it does in real life I doubt it'll be long until that same tech can be used in deep fakes. Número tres: Creating a Simple HTML Page

 <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Hello, I like cars and computers.</span></p> <p style="text-align: right;"><em>this is a basic HTML page.</em></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>PRETTY COOL</strong></p> Honestly making this html page wasn’t too bad. The thing that caused me the most issue is on my mac it wouldn’t let me save the html file as html, it kept saving as an rtf document. I had to  find the file in the file explorer and saving as html after I finished making the document, weird. I used a couple of different things. I used the paragraph, bold, italics, and where the lines start. It honestly sounded harder than it actually was and only actually took my 5 mins to do.
